The flat plate coat (FRP flat plate special gel coat) is mostly benzene-type benzene neopentylene glycol type unsaturated polyester gel coat. It is a special protective coating for the surface of fibreglass flat plates and FRP anti-corrosion plates. It is suitable for the production of continuous mechanism plates and hand-glued plates, and is used to make a large-area flat plate surface layer.

● Flat gel coat focusses on large-area flat moulding, which is different from the focus of marine and wind power gel coat: wind power focusses on resisting wind and sand erosion, and marine focus on long-term water soaking and anti-bubbling; flat gel coat gives priority to ensuring the flatness of the whole plate, low pinhole, colour preservation and anti-corrosion.
