Process & Logistics & Packaging

Bluerox 60 is primarily used to cure unsaturated polyester resins in molding and hot pressing formulations (such as SMC, BMC, DMC, etc.) at temperatures ranging from 120 to 170 °C. Bluerox 60 is used for the crosslinking of natural and synthetic rubbers, as well as thermoplastic polyolefins. Rubber compounds containing Bluerox 60 have moderate processing safety in combination with a very high rate of cure. Safe processing temperature (rheometer ts2 > 20 minutes): 100°C. Typical crosslink temperature (rheometer t90 about 12 minutes): 140°C. Bluerox 60 is not recommended for compounds which contain carbon black.
